Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 4 November 2026

NigeriaServe wants everyone to be able to search, book and manage a stay, including people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have motor, cognitive or other disabilities.

1. Our commitment

Standard. We aim for the website nigeriaserve.com/, including search, results, hotel pages, checkout and "Manage a booking", to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

The law. The Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities (Prohibition) Act 2018 prohibits discrimination on the grounds of disability. Section 9 says anyone who provides goods, services or facilities must not discriminate in refusing them, in their terms, or in how they are provided. We apply that duty to our website, our customer service and the information we give you about stays.

How we work. We build new features with accessibility from the start, test with a keyboard and screen readers before release, train staff who answer customers, and review this statement at least once a year.

2. How accessible the site is

Features available today

Known limitations (we will confirm or update this list after testing)

Area Issue What you can do now
Hotel photos Some photos supplied by partners have no text description Call or WhatsApp us and we will describe the property
Payment pages Paystack, Stripe and PayPal pages are run by those companies, so we cannot fix issues on them Choose another method or ask us for a bank transfer
Partner websites Offers marked “Book on partner site” open another company’s website Contact us to book an equivalent stay directly
Date pickers Their behaviour differs between browsers and screen readers You can type the date as YYYY-MM-DD
Documents Older PDF documents may not be fully accessible Ask us for the content in another format

Accessibility of the stays themselves. Accommodation providers tell us about step-free access, lifts, accessible bathrooms and other features. We show this where we have it, but the provider is responsible for its accuracy. Before you book, we can contact the property for you to confirm what you need, at no charge.

3. Getting help and giving feedback

If something on the site stops you booking, we will help you complete the booking another way, at the same price.

When you report a problem, tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the device and assistive technology you use, if you are comfortable sharing it. We respond to reports within 48 hours and aim to fix or work around them as quickly as we can.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD), which receives complaints about violations of the rights of persons with disabilities.
